From Bitter Ground is an experience that weaves between the printed page, a building that cannot possibly exist, and your presence within the whole work.

It’s about a haunted house.

It’s about who you think you are.

The whole experience lasts four days, with a Prologue that you can access as soon as you purchase your copy. You’ll be asked to find a location that’s resonant to you, and the story unfolds there.

Each order contains two copies of the books. We'll ask you if you want to identify a reading partner during the Prologue. If you'd like us to mail their copy to them, then select that option in Shipping, and let us know their address details and email. Otherwise we'll send them both to you.

We'll email instructions to access the Prologue once we've processed your order.

A note on the form:
From Bitter Ground is a work of Ambient Literature. To experience the story, you need to walk, and see the world through the story being told. The set of books informs the way you read the experiential work, and vice-versa, forming connective tissue between the two platforms.
